Hi guys will be sending my package soon but just want to know if my joint sponsor files taxes jointly with his wife do they both need to sign 2 different forms or cpuld it be just my uncle’s sign? Also can I sign my documents with my new last name (husband’s) or the way I signed in my passport. Thanks

It's not strictly required, but an I-864A is often requested from the current spouse of a joint sponsor.

I got an RFE because my joint sponsor was married filing jointly. Have his wife fill out form i1864a and they both will have to sign that. Also include the wife’s W2s for 2017 if she has any as well as proof of citizenship same as you did for the joint sponsor and also their marriage certificate. Sign the same way you signed for other documents just in case so that there is no confusion.
