We received an 18 month extension letter last week and a biometrics appointment letter today for my wife. The biometrics appointment is next Wednesday. The first question is why didn't we receive an extension letter or biometrics letter for my step son who was included in my wife's I-751 application? What should we do about this? My next question is if we have to reschedule my wife's biometrics appointment what is the best way to do this? My wife might have to work that day and the location we have to go to is about a 2 hour drive from here. What happens if we keep the appointment and the weather is too bad to drive there that day? We are in WI and we have had some bad weather in the last few weeks and if the roads are as bad on the day of the appointment as they were today I would not risk the drive. It's hard to believe they only give you a little more than a weeks notice for the biometrics appointment but maybe that is a sign the whole process might go relatively quickly. Maybe not though.
