I would like to hear from US Citizens that married in Vietnam.

How is your name written on the Vietnam Marriage Certificate?

Is it First Middle Last or Last Middle First? Are you of Vietnamese origin?

Mine is First Middle Last and I have no Vietnamese heritage. Two of my friends, one born in Vietnam, the other in USA, have the names on the certificate as Last Middle First. I'm curious as to what the Vietnam rules might be or if there might actually be a mistake on my license.  I need data to assimilate a proper conclusion.

P.S. If anyone is Colorado needs help with immigration or naturalization, I help all, with no charge and can put you in touch with local agencies that will help at no cost.

Thanks.

Same as above, my name is written as Last Name, Given Name (same as my passport). Not Vietnamese. The order on the certificate itself states Họ, chữ đệm, tên chồng (Surname, Middle, First). I didn't actually notice until recently. We already used it to move to Japan, get a B2 tourist visa back in 2017, and now in IR1process. So I'm guessing it's okay.
