Hi, I hope you can help me.

My situation is this: I would like to petition my parents but the problem is that the BC that i submitted when I was petitioned by my husband here in the US has errors. First error, my mother's name and my father's middle name are both misspelled. Second, their age when I was born and lastly, their date of marriage.

My parents already fixed the errors of their BC and marriage certificate in the Philippines. The one I am worrying about is my BC that I submitted here in the US. I'm concern that they are going to compare it with my parent's fixed documents.

Question: Do I have to fix my BC in the Philippines to match their name, age and marriage date based on my parents documents or just submit an affidavit stating their correct information?

Thank you.

I would fix your BC first and file. Don't you want to fix your BC anyway? Just for accuracy's sake
