Dallas Field Office Oath Rescheduling Experience?

I received an oath notice in the mail October 29 2018 , asking me to show up for Oath on Nov 1st 2018.

 

Unfortunately, I was out of the country on a trip that was planned months in advance. I was more than willing to show up for my oath with an expensive flight but with such a short notice, I was not able to as it took an additional day to figure out the actual oath date.

 

With the shutdown in effect, ombudsman has not yet replied to my inquiry made in mid-Dec. My lawyer has not been getting any updates through their AILA channels.

 

Just seeing if other have any experience with Dallas FO for rescheduling?
