Form I-129F Part 1 and Part 8

Hi! Glad to have found this site.

My partner and I are filling up this I-129F form.

We have a few areas of uncertainties. Hope some of you may be able to advise us.

Firstly, NAME OF PREVIOUS SPOUSE. My partner’s ex wife has a different maiden name before and after their marriage. Meaning, she had ‘A’ last name before their marriage. Then, she took on his last name during their marriage. Now, she has changed her last name to ‘C’. So, which of her last name should be printed on the I-129F form?

Secondly, how shall I write the numbering for Item Number in Part 8. For example, Beneficiary’s Physical Address 2 is numbered as Item 14.a - 15.b.

I have more addresses to add on in Part 8. So, what should I write in the box Item Number in Part 8?

Thanks for reading this and I certainly hope to read some tips on doing it correctly.

The name on the 1-129F (ex spouse) should be whatever name is on the divorce decree that will be attached to the petition.

Things that don't fit on the petition should be on an added typed up attachment referencing the section that you were unable to complete
