My husband recently received his visa approved passport from the US Embassy and he was supposed to travel to the United States for the first time on the December 13th, However designated airline refused to check him in on the day of the flight, because they received a notification from the CBP which prohibits any airline to board him. He was told to contact the nearest embassy. His visa was issued on November 19 but when I checked the status on December 14 it went from ‘issued’ to ‘ready’ and it says that he needs to schedule an appointment for the interview. I also checked the ustraveldocs website and it says his case is under ‘expedited cases’ now. I want to know what is going on

He was told to contact the embassy, has he done so? They clearly found a problem after they issued it but there’s no way we can know what it is, he needs to talk to them.

He got an appointment for the new interview next week. Lets see what happens.
