I wanted to start this topic in regards to my parents petition ,it’s been 201 days and I havent got my noa2 yet..I’m starting to get worried because some got an approval already which they filed later than me and it’s the same center which is in Texas.i called today and the agent said status is case received still..is anybody here have the same issue as me?

It can take from 6 months to a year to receive NOA2. And because of that, there is not much you can do since you are technically within the timeframe.

 

Comparing your case to others does nothing but causes stress. Each case is different and there will ALWAYS be a few that gets approved early just like there will be a few that gets approved abnormally longer than everyone else. If your case gets to about 9 - 12 months, you can start inquiring more about the status. Until then, practice patience.

 

Just keep focused on your own case and periodically check up on it. Focusing on other's will not help you situation.

That’s true!..yeah anyway the agent said there doing April 4 petition and my priority date is May 18th anyway ..thank you
