Education in Ukraine

Can someone help us? My wife did her (Directorate of) Music diploma education in Ukraine and not sure how to:

a) understand diploma equivalent in the US

b) job options in the US

I did education evaluation through WES (world educational services, wes.org ). They are based in New York and perform education evaluation for USA and Canada. Ukraine Education considered good here in US and my Masters Diploma in Air Traffic Management was evaluated as Masters here in US, as well as my Bachelors in Air Navigation was evaluated as Bachelors in the US. WES will send you sealed envelope with evaluation results and you will have an option to order a sealed envelope for any address (like your potential employer or school or whatever...). But to do this all you are only allowed to apply to WES from a special department of Ministry of Education of Ukraine based in Kyiv, Ukraine (http://apostille.in.ua/ua/). They will verify that your diplomas are real and genuine and they will send a package to WES. This is the only way...WES will not accept the package from you personally. 

 

But I am not sure its going to help in finding a job. Whole process costs around 250$ per one diploma to evaluate. I just tell in my CV that I have Masters and Bachelors and I got 5 job offers during one week after posting my CV and profile at job search webservices. Nobody asked about my diplomas to see them or to what it is equivalent in the US...So I am not sure the process worth it.
