Waiting on physically receiving Green Card

Hi all!

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck in getting an update on the mailing status of their green cards. We submitted an inquiry since we are already way past the 120 day mark from entry and payment, but they simply sent us a letter saying that they needed to do further research? I have tried calling but they never seem to be able to help. I'm planning on calling again today hopefully I get lucky with a nice agent this time.

Our entry date was 05/04/2018 and payment was made on 04/20/2018.

Thank you all for your input!

I saw someone post about the same issue just yesterday. Try contacting your senator and the ombudsman. The ombudsman's office takes a while but at least they'll be aware of your case. Have you also tried an Infopass appointment? I advise against calling them...they are so unhelpful over the phone.

I called them again. Turns out that my husband's card hasn't even been produced. Plus they don't know why. The agent even said that it might have been due to a human error. I have to wait 90 more days to be able to request further information. That being said...she basically told me that they messed up and they need to figure out what the heck they are doing with our file....
