Yesterday, we had our AOS interview at the small Greer, SC office. The lady that did the interview was very pleasant! Started with swearing in. Then, she asked me, the USC, how we met. She asked my wife's daughter how was school. The she asked for Marriage Certificate, but then found it in the file that hse had. I think that the reason the ask for information that has already been submitted is that they do not want to take the time to find it in the file. My wife's file was about 2.5 inches thick. She asked for my 2006 Tax Return, and I offered the W-2, and 3 recent months pay stubs, which was glad to receive. She asked for the Vaccination record from the Civil surgeon in the sealed envelope. She did not ask for original Vaccination record and translation and I did not offere it. Then she asked for proof of living together. I gave her copies of my dental and health insurance cards that list my wife and her daughter, a deposit slip and cvoided check that had both of our names and the address, a bank statement with both our names, and a brokerage account statement that is only in my wife's name, and a receipt from the SC DMV for payment for driver's test in my wife's name and our address. I explained that I did not have a lot of documents with both our names because all my assets are in a Trust, with her as one of the beneficaries. She asked if there was an auto insurance policy and I told her that she has only passed the written part of the driver's exam and not the road test yet, so there is no need for insurance in her name. She then asked all the standard terrorist, spy, prostitute, communist party, etc. questions and then started to talk about the conditional 2- year Permanent Resident card and that I-751 would need to be submitted to remove condidtions 3 months before expiration. She had to organize my wifes file with the papers I gave her and then she approved her in the computer. Then she organized the daughter's file and approved her in the computer. She then had us sign a paper that described that the PR card is conditionsl and it listed the expiration date and the date when the I-751 may first be submitted and gave us a copy of this statement, with her notation that the daughter could be listed on a single I-751 submittle. That was it! I had a suitcase full of photographs from all our trave together before arrival to USA and of the wedding and party, but she did not ask for any photos.

It all took about 30 minutes.

WARNING! ! ! ! ! After receiving the letters scheduling the interview, The USCIS Website, on two different occasions, was updated to say that the interview WAS CANCELLED ! ! ! We never received any letter about this. I ignored this and wenyt to the interview anyway. I would have gone to the interview even if I had received a letter in the mail cancelling the interview. DO NOT TRUST ANY INFORMATION ON THE USCIS WEBSITE. I have found that it is not updated with any reliability. Most the ONLY truthful update on this website, was acknowlegment of receipt of answer to an RFE, way back in October. No other action, or file "touched" showed up on this website.
