I751 - Tranfer Notice - WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Hey there my friends,

Title says it all. We got a transfer notice saying my wife's case got transferred to the TEXAS SERVICE CENTER that has jurisdiction over our case. From there they would notify us in writing when a decision has been made and if they need additional information.

I haven't seen any mention of this letter in VisaJourney's I751 guide. Is this transfer indicative of something wrong in processing? I understand we need to go in for an interview but we live in Seattle so why is Texas taking our case?

Thanks again for any insight,

~Kevin & Jeimmy

this is simply balancing the work load. California center is overloaded and they keep moving the cases to Texas and Nebraska.
