i have a question.. if u really got a pink slip does it means that you are "really" approved?.. coz i got interview today.. and the CO ddnt really greet me congrats.. but i just noticed that he never said congrats to the girls that i met and got interviewed by him too.. he said just take ur seat and they will just look at the screen. something like that.. then i read to the pink slip this "make arrangements with and pay the applicable fee to our courier service in order to expedite drlivery of the visa pocket if visa is authorized. "the fee is refundable if the visa is not issued."

So im wondering if having a pink slip is an assurance that i am approve.. : (

but anyway they are right interview is painless.. :) its jsut after ur interview u will gona think and think.. but then when u got to the point, hmm not really scary.. lol

The pink slip is not from the NVC. It sounds like an approval to me.

i heard from friends that if they give you the pink slip, that means you were granted the visa. i'm waiting for my packet. my fiance from washington just received the approval letter from USCIS, it says it will be forwarded to US Embassy Manila in after two weeks. i'm trying to be patient with this. anyway, i'm curious...if ever i am granted the k1 visa, how long is the validity? does it expire in a certain period of time? i still have a lot of things to settle here in the philippines just in case. does anyone know? how long can i stay here?

uhm in my experience i waited 1 more and half months to received the packet from embassy, after my hubby recieved the approval letter from NVC and i heard from my friend that the visa will expire if u will stay here in phils like 3 months or 6 months more. but i just heard.. i kinda forgot about that. but for sure when i got my visa. theres a instruction there for sure. so ill read it and ill PM you if how long it is.. :)
