Social Security Card Update after Green Card

Hello,

 

My family was approved for green card earlier this month and is looking to update our social security card so it removes the notice on our previous card.

 

I know you have to go to an immigration office and fill out a form but I really can't find the time for all my family to go.

 

Would it be fine if I just fill out the form on their behalf or do I have to bring everybody there?

I just took our Greencards to the SS office. They DID expect both of us to be there (daughter is a minor).  We didn't go to an immigration office.
