San Antonio field office (K1)

I am starting a topic for San Antonio field office , my case is ready to be scheduled for interview since August 20  , for the people who have an interview scheduled, can you please share your time line 

Mine was scheduled for today but 2 hours before my appointment I got a phone call advising it was cancelled due to unforseen circumstances. Looked on USCIS and the office got closed due to hazardous building conditions. Whatever that means lol so I'm currently waiting to hear what's next. Oh and mine went from ready to schedule to being scheduled in exactly 31 days.

RFE Received By USCIS: 21/07/2017

I-129F NOA2: 18/08/2017 (176 Days)

NVC Received: 31/08/2017 (13 Days)

NVC Left: 06/09/2017 (6 Days)

Consulate Received: 08/09/2017

Letter from embassy (Packet 3): 11/09/2017
Medical at Knightsbridge: 28/09/2017

Interview: 10/10/2017 APPROVED!!!!

Oh wow that was fast hopefully they will wave your interview, can you share your  NOA 1 date please , mine is July 20

PD is June 29 here still waiting on EAD. Anybody know what the time line for getting interview scheduled is for?


  • June 29, 2018 : USCIS applications (I-130, I-130A, I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131) received by USPS.
  • July 5, 2018: SMS/Email Notifications that cases have been received
  • July 12, 2018: All NOA paper receipts
  • July 17, 2018: Biometrics Appointment Letter received
  • July 23, 2018 :Received RFE (I-693 Medical Exam) in mail
  • July 26, 2018: Biometrics Appointment at 3:00 PM (Done by 1:50PM)
  • July 30, 2018: Case is Ready to be Scheduled for Interview

Yes it said that  the day after I did my biometrics. Just waiting now for EAD and the interview to actually be scheduled.

Oh this topic is for k1 visa , yes you can check July fillers last page , but she came to the us on a k1 visa , adjusting from f1 or tourist visa has a different timelines
