I got the most confusing book on this stuff EVER. And I've been poking through the guides, and asking questions here and there (and you guys are all Awesome!) ... Does the Affadavit of Support get filed with the I129-f or no?

*head spinning a little from all this*

Thanks!

No, you actually bring your Affadavit of Support with you when you (finally...) get your interview at the consulate. If you file the application with it, USCIS isn't going to look at it or forward it to the consulate - so keep it on hand.

Good luck!

NO  It is brought to the interview. If it is sent to USCIS it will be too old when the interview happens, and they probably will discard it.

The guide here shows exactly what is needed to be included with I-129F, and I-134 is not one of them.

List of items needed at the interview, affidavit of support is listed there: SEE http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/visa/iv/ds2001.html
