Chicago Interview july 2018 and no response as approval or not?

Some friends of mine had their interview july 2018 and their has been no update to their case in chicago . Online it still says interview scheduled.

What type of case was it? AOS, Naturalization, ROC? Was there feedback at the interview?

Aos from k1 visa and at the interview they said just requires further processing a decision will be mailed. I think it says 90 days or less we should have a decision but its been 2 months and they are stressed out.

They shouldn't stress at this point. The had the interview and submitted documents. Absolutely worst case, they get a rejection and can appeal. I wouldn't worry. Sometimes it takes longer to process and unfortunately, there's nothing to do. Once it gets outside of that time frame, I'd recommend they request a case update online and contact their Senator/Representative.
