Nice. Bunch of corporate bullies. Even the legal download services are a joke - so loaded with DRM coding that they are practically useless. Downloaded an episode of The Shield via iTunes the other day - and got treated to "Jerko-Vision".

It's making it's way there. The day will come which record companies will not be able to profit and keep music artists as paupers in contractual prisons.

Or more hopefully - the music companies will not continue to operate in the manner they currently are. Given the technologies exist to self-publish (esp. over the internet), all you really need is good marketing (which is really all the record companies do anyway) - and there are plenty of freelance marketing companies out there. Artists and consumers would I think, be better off if we did away with the middlemen.
