N400 Interview cancelled as requested? I did not request a cancellation.

Hi everyone!

I had my citizenship interview initially scheduled for June 4, 18. On the day before the appointment, I received a call from an officer that left a message saying my appointment had been cancelled. I went to the appointment anyway just to be sure and they told me they were still to receive my file from NSC. 
I received the De-scheduled Interview letter days later and it said:
 

This is to advise you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel the previously scheduled interview on Monday, June 04, 2018 at 10:30AM for the above applicant. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

We will advise you of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information, under separate notice.

I received a notice on July 13 to let me know my interview appointment was scheduled for August 22. 
And today I received a notice saying:
 

This is to advise you that, as requested, we have canceled the interview on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 08:50AM for the above applicant. We will advise you of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information, under separate notice.

I never requested a cancellation. Could it be that they just sent the wrong notice and that they still don't have my file? I called NCSC but they weren't helpful. 
Now I'm confused and frustrated. Any thoughts?

Wow! I have no helpful ideas, but that sounds really frustrating. If it were me, I might go anyway (again!) or try to get an infopass. Let us know what happens!

This is to advise you that, as requested, we have canceled the interview on ...

 

 

I have NEVER asked for canceling of my interview. Do you have an update on your case since it was some months ago? I am really frustrated and sad.

Call the 1800 and get Tier 2 on the line. I had a similar issue with biometrics (someone marked me as cancelled) so call and ask what happened. Just don' speak to the regular customer service because they have no clue.
