Both of you will recieve that. Just call nvc and ask for your case and invoice number

They not meant to contact you. You have to contact them. From NOa2 normally after 2-3 weeks USCIS send your file to NVC. It will take 1 to 2 weeks to get there. Once  NVC received your file it will take upto 8-9 weeks to get your case number which you need to pay fees , files visa application etc. So you need to call Nvc and asked them if they got your file and start counting time since than.
