On from I130A question 10a and 17a it asks for beneficiary parents name. For 10 a I tried to put for ex. Smith(Jackson) and for 17a just Jackson. Moms maiden name is Jackson and after marriage is Smith like the fathers name. The form doesn't let me put parentheses. How should I do it?

Some boxes do not allow numbers only alphacharacters only. How do I input numbers of the for doesn't allow it?

Also many questions end in (if any) for example Other names used(if any)...should I leave it blank or write NONE. Thank you for your help.

- they does not specify "maiden name" for the parents' part of the question so i believe you can put either one. (if you want to put both i think you can put the other name in Part 7. Additional Information)

- which part do you need to put numbers?

- for those (if any), if you are not applied to that you can just leave it blank.

-Form I130A in Part 1 line 10a it says Family Name(Maiden Name) for Parent 1.....while line 17a it says Family Name(Last Name). I was thinking to put for line 10a Smith(Jackson) where Jackson represents Maiden Name and Smith is the current Last Name of beneficiary mother. If I want to do this I can't put parentheses () around the Maiden Name. Is there any way around it?

-I need to put numbers in Part 1 line 8d

If anyone has any suggestions, any help is great.

Thank you

They are not asking you to put parentheses.

For example. Say your mothers maiden name is Sally Jackson. And her married name is Sally Smith. Let us also say your father's name is David Smith.

This is how you would fill it:

10a. Jackson

10b. Sally

17a. Smith

17b. David

Now for 8b. you can type numbers into the box only if you fist check Apt. Ste. or Flr.

I want ask question please

Form 130 part4 46.d.

Date authorized stay expired, or will expire, as shown on Form I-94 or Form I-95(mm/dd/yyyy) or type or print "D/S" fro Duration of Status

I need to write D/S and not possible. Only date is possible.

How to write D/S?

thank you

Good evening. There are 2 ways you can put D/S in that box.

The first way is you can hand write it in after you print it.

The second way is to follow these steps in Adobe Acrobat reader:

·         Click “Edit” on the tool bar

·         Then "Preferences"

·         Click on "JavaScript" on the left hand side

·         Then uncheck "Enable Acrobat JavaScript"

·         Then hit ok

·         Now you can type in that box

Good luck!
