hi all, i am trying to fill out the form i751 with my husband to help him apply to remove conditions on his 2 year green card.

the form has been updated, but the question toward the very last part before signing your name is confusing.

my husband's English is very limited, so most of the form i had to translate some parts into his language to fill out. although we are applying jointly. Therefore, in part 7, does my husband check that someone as in me to help interpret or translate the petition for him?

do i need to fill out part 9 as the interpreter?

I think you have to be certified and have have credentials, but I see nothing on the form about it. It could cause extra scrutiny if you do but  it may be acceptable. Why hasn't he learned English yet?

My spouse has a fairly good command of English; however, there are parts of the form that I interpreted for him. I had attorney assistance in filing and she advised me to sign the interpreter section as I was the one that did the interpreting. Hope this helps.
