I am filing an i-130 for my wife, and our marriage certificate is in German. Does this need an apostille or just a professional translator? The instructions say:

Translations. If you submit a document with information in a foreign language, you must also submit a full English translation. The translator must sign a certification that the English language translation is complete and accurate, and that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English. The certification should also include the date, the translator’s signature and printed name, and may contain the translator’s contact information.

Thank you for the help!

Good Morning,

My marriage certificate is in Kurdish and Arabic. I used a great translator who is very detail oriented and has a proven history of translations submitted and accepted by USCIS ( including my own).  I will message you his information if you are interested. Anyways, I sent in the copy in Arabic and also my certified/notarized translation. It was accepted no problem. No RFE's so far.
