Senator office followup for case status

4 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

My N400 case has been 230 days since fingerprint.  I chose to seek help from state senator office for more insider info in my case. Today they forwarded the answer from Uscis local office——The case became interviewed ready in late April and has been placed into the queue waiting for an available interview date. The interview notice will be sent in the mail when he is scheduled. Unfortunately, a timeframe cannot be predicated as to when the case will be scheduled.

my questions here:

1) does this mean the FBI already completed my name/background check? This is my biggest concern.

2) will this be a signal that I will have interview appt notice soon? Since my case was ready for interview since this April, now is a matter of when the schedule is available for me .

ATTENTION!!!   Minneapolis filers,  please go to the Excel sheet shared link(below) to review others or update  your N400 status .!    Best luck to all of us!

My N400 timeline:

  • 11/19/2017, e-filed
  • 8/10/2018, online update: interview scheduled
  • 8/17/2018, interview letter received
  • 9/17/2018, interview day--approved! placed in line for oath

Hope the senator’s inquiry can trigger and remind the uscis local officer that my case is ready for interview. My feeling is sometime your case is ready for next move but was forgotten and left on the shelf and dusted. Maybe I am wrong
