Requested to Return to Medical Exam Office

My husband made a 6 hour trip to Santo Domingo on bus for his medical exam on the 27 of April.  They told him the results would be ready on 8 May and they agreed that he could pick up results in Santiago.  On May 1 he received a call to return to the medical office in Santo Domingo on 3 May for results; he was told to also bring passport and 500 pesos.

He is very concerned, my question is this normal?

My husband went in two trips.  He didn't see the doctor on the first one. It still took a bit of time because they did the initial paperwork to set up his file, draw blood, take the x-rays and everything else. That the rest of the exam was on the second trip so that the doctor could see him after having looked at test results. Since they are telling you to bring payment and they know how much the payment will be, it sounds like they don't have any reason to believe he will need additional tests or treatment. It sounds normal to me.
