K1 visa

Hello everyone i just wanna share regarding on my visa issue!! that i call the 2go express delivery regarding on my passport and  Im glad that the  courier was on his way to deliver my passport in our house back after 1 month ago. And my visa status was change on REFUSED! Last 2 days My question is, is it the right status that i need to or should it change visa closed? Or is it the same "Refused" means its already closed?  And another question if incase to apply a new k1 visa how long does it takes to me to wait before to apply? Thank you!

2GO delivered your passport with visa and the DO NOT OPEN ENVELOPE, or your passport was returned without the visa? 

 

IF the latter.  First thing you would need to address is why the visa was refused then remedy that issue before applying again.   

 

There is not a waiting time to apply for the K-1 again.  Main requirement is having met in person within the past two years from filing date, if you and the petitioner meet this requirement, plus being free to marry you should be good for filing (once you clear up the issue that caused the REFUSAL.

Hi! " Hank" Thank you for your comment the passport was returning back to me today is with out the visa i sent it to them last february 2018 because i decided not to go to usa.actually when i send my passport with visa i didnt attach a letter stating to closed it,  but the time that the embassy call me and said that they recieve my documents and they are going to put a "note" to attach on it  stating the reason i send my passport with visa is to closed and also my x fiance send a withdrawal letter.

 

My Friend tell me  something about her friend story  she has the same issue of mine i guess, she said  that after 1 year of waiting to apply a new k1 visa she got Denied  on her new k1 visa interview because the consular found out that her previous visa is still active..so my friend told me that if i want to make it sure that my previous visa is closed  atleast have to wait 2-3 years before filling a NEW K1 VISA  So what do you think is the problem of my friends friend why she got denied after she waited 1 year to apply her new k1 visa?

Ah your fiance canceled the petition and you returned the visa to cancel that.   I would keep records of this .. just in case.   Did your fiance cancel because he couldn't afford to buy airfare (seems I read about someone having that happen) ?

 

As for your friend, don't have a clue why denied, always more to any story that is passed along.

Yes it was me whos my fiance had a financial problem before, actually he asked me for a 2nd chance but i decided to stay here and not going to usa..so i asked him to send a withdrawal letter for cancellation to clear my record.

Did either of you get a letter stating it was withdrawn?

Hi.. No not yet! I call the embassy earlier and the Girl i was talking about my visa asking if its  already closed because i track my visa online my status was change to Refused ..the Girl told me that its already closed but i have to wait the final confirmation letter about it.
