August 2017 I-129F Filers, Part II

Greetings to you all. Please I've got few questions that I'd be very happy if you guys could help me out with answers. I've filed I-129F for my fiance on August 25th, 2017 got the NOA1 around the end of August, got an RFE on Feb, 26th on request for our passport size photos, a copy of my previous divorce certificate and intent to marry statement from my fiance. We were able to get everything and mailed it to them within a week and then we got the approval on March 22nd. The NVC received our file on March 30th, provided us with our case number which we've checking our case online but today, we saw that the case is in transit to the Consular section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National visa center.

Please, any idea of what's next? Your comments and ideas are most welcome.

Interviews are scheduled differently for the Ghana embassy depending on the type. Since you are seeking a K1 visa, you will schedule your interview online once your status shows ready. It may take some time for a spot to become available so be patient. 

 

The NVC schedules CR1 visa interviews for the Ghana embassy. 

 

In the mean time, you can fill out the DS-160 online if you haven’t already.

Really, can I fill the DS-160 online without an interview date and without my file at the Consular Service in Ghana yet?

So I’ve just had an update on the app to say that they’ve received our evidence. Fingers crossed an approval will be on the way soon.
