Last year, couple of folks I know got their whole process done in little over 5 months. Those were paper applications so I expected my online application would go much faster. Apparently, I am wrong.  I have updated my timeline as well.

You still got time. Who knows, maybe next week you get an interview appointment. Five months (paper or online) does not sound as outrageous of what the Jacksonville office told me (1 year or over...). Crossing fingers for you!

Thanks :)

As far as I know, they usually play safe and give enough bandwidth in timeline so people don't get anxious and bother them. Being said that, I really hope it's  not one year as well.

Tell me about it...mine says 13 months.  Would prefer it to be a lot quicker than that. (Just wishful thinking. lol)

@tallnbrown Just curious - how did your biometrics appointment go? The last time I was there (January 2011), the lady I spoke to was kind of snooty.  Did they ask for passport photos? I have heard that sometimes the biometrics pictures taken onsite can be problematic.

Are you still waiting for interview? Seems posts from people in Jax N400's are going quite fast. I wonder what the hold up is?

Interview that was scheduled just showed the N400. I almost didnt go thinking i wouldn't need to appear for that. Figured I;d go just for support. Glad i did go because it ended up being the joint i-751, thus i needed to be there.Interviewer said the i-751 has to be adjudicated before the N400 interview.

For us the i-751interview was pretty simple lasted bout 10 minutes. Interviewer did ask us to separate and not hold hands and such because often times he said people use that as clues to answers they are suppose to give. Interviewer brought us both in, asked us a couple questions as to if anything changed and anything new you'd like to add. Other than that nothing at all for the i751. Commented on how he was impressed on the amount of evidence we sent in, how organized it was and said Congrats your approved. instructed me to leave (walked me out to lobby and thanked me) so my husband could do the N400 interview.

My husband said N400 was simple (again about 10 minutes long , if that) didnt ask nothing more on life questions, only the civil questions which he past the first 6 so they stopped (first two he had to write the answer for the writing test part). Officer told him Congrats, he was approved and he'd be in line for Oath, That was it.

Got 10 year green card literally about 6 days after the interview. Didnt figure we'd get one since the N400 was approved and waiting inline for Oath but apparently you still get a green card to turn in at Naturalization Ceremony.

Congratulations. May I ask what address you are putting on the N-445? Was not sure if it is the residence or where the ceremony will be held.

I think it’s your residential address. When is your oath? You are also in JAX right?
