Hoping people here can help me a little.  Received my wifes date letter for her interview for citizenship.  Now the documents in this letter that they are asking her to bring with her I have all in the N400 application packet.  Of course I made a copy of everything before sending it off to USCIS.  They are requesting copies of marriage certificate, divorce papers of previous marriage both mine and my wifes, a copy of my birth certificate, etc., etc.   Now this is all in my N400 application packet.

In the interview schedule letter they do not refer to bringing the N400 paperwork and documentation itself.   So, If I have my wife bring our copy of the N400 will that be sufficient.  It has all the documentation they are requiring to bring into the interview??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you ever so kindly

Also If I bring the complete N400 packet should I make a copy of that also because I am not sure what USCIS will keep or if they will return it back to my wife.

Bring everything you want to bring and make a copy of it.

Other than the docs you mentioned, you need to bring marriage evidence as well, such as tax records, insurance records, loans documents.. etc.

I personally didn't bring a print out copy of N-400 application (I filed online and saved a copy on my phone) but I brought some marriage evidence and my husband's birth certificate and passport.

The only things my IO took were, tax record of 2016 and house deeds with both of our names.

He took the marriage certificate and made a copy and then returned the original back to me, didn't ask for anything related to my husband (birth certificate and passport).

My N-400 interview was extremely easy in my opinion, but I think it's always good to be over-prepared than under-prepared. So don't over think it and make a copy of everything and bring it all.
