Hi,

We need help, appreciate if someone can share their experience with us.

We received the packet 3 from KL US embassy. Summary of the packet 3 as attached :

After we finished doing step 1 and 2, we directly to step 3 (a) applying for a visa interview. We do that in accordance with the step given. However, after we done with visa interview page. There is no option for Visa Delivery address anymore. It became from this (picture 1) to this (picture 2).

I read others VJ Members experience I need to bring the Delivery address slip to the interview. However, I'm not able to register the address now since there is no option given to registered. I even read that some of them have been turned away because not having that slip. Can anyone share their experience with us? We just do it in sequence according to the packet 3. We not even know that the option will not be there anymore after scheduling the interview date. Can anyone share with us how the delivery address slip or transaction confirmation page look like?

Thank you so much for your help,

Best regards,

ECandAfi

On Screen 2 click on "Change Document Delivery Information."  Also look for the forums that have specific information for your embassy as each one does things a little bit different.  Some embassies send out packets that may have the slip you are thinking of.  If all else fails contact the embassy and find out how they do it.

I did, I choose according to what I want. However, there is no delivery address slip can be found. And since I put Malaysia as my embassy, this post automatically appeared in Malaysia portal too. Aside from that, I did email the embassy, they revert back to me by saying that "the appointment confirmation is sufficient since it have Aramex address". But, I just afraid if the one that reply my email and the one who will checking the documents on the day of the interview have different knowledge or opinion regarding documents needed. :(

So I checked all the PDFs that I had saved for my K-1 step and I found a page titled 'Transaction Confirmation'. It contained:

1. Applicant's name

2. Applicant's passport number

3. UID number and barcode

4. U.S. Embassy location

5. Trip Purpose: Document Delivery Registration (oddly enough, that's what the system entered for that field)

6. Visa class

7. Document delivery type: (Could be home delivery, office delivery or pickup from Aramex)

8. Mailing street

9. Mailing city

10. Mailing state

11. Mailing postal code

12. DS-160 confirmation number and barcode

I am not sure why the embassy personnel did not ask for Transaction Confirmation, instead, she specifically mentioned 'Address Registration' page when she asked for every individual document that she wanted from me and other applicants. If you had managed to save a page outlining the stuff I mentioned above, that should be it and you'll be fine.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

@KULtoATL It is exactly the same information stated in Appointment confirmation. The only different is that Appointment Confirmation doesn't contain purpose of trip. Maybe I should email them another query and bring both email during the day of the interview. 😔
