Timeline

i just had my immigration interview (f2a) yesterday the officer was nice and i handed him all documents that he asked for, i had a feeling that all was going OK and i was going to get my immigration visa approved at the end of the interview he gave me my passport   and i was asked to fill form DS5535. does this mean my visa is rejected? did anyone been through this please advise. the situation is very emotional i have two kids and my wife in the US they had been crying as they were promised that i will be joining them soon. please advise.

Timeline

You need to fill the form and answer truthful. You are not rejected just got an extra check-up. The form is for people who are suspected for "terrorist links and other inadmissibility" . You should be fine if you have done nothing bad in your past....
