I finally got my oath ceremony notice! :jest:

Anyway, I read the notice and it doesn't say if I can bring my cellphone or not. Hoping to learn about some of your experiences regarding cellphone regulations.

I'd love it if my husband can take some pictures of me.

Please share your experience and your oath ceremony location as I know different locations may have different rules.

My location is Boston, MA.

You can take cell phones to the oath ceremony. There are several videos on YouTube that were taken from cell phones. Here is one from Boston:

Congratulations.

It seems people are free to take pics and videos, so i think we can take our phone.

How long did it take between your interview and the oath ceremony ?

Regards

I had my interview on Jan 08, and my oath ceremony is on Feb 15.

The oath notice was mailed to me on Jan 17, received on Jan 24.

It turned out my ceremony location did not allow cellphones....:(

It was at a huge court house building next to the Boston harbor. When we entered the building, we were asked to check in our phones at the front desk, no cellphones no laptops.

I guess it depends on the location the ceremony is at :(
