Background:
- I'm from the USA, Spouse is from Canada
- Visiting as tourist for past several months and I proposed to her and we got married last week (wasn't planned)
- Trying to figure out everything immigration wise now.
- Boss paid for lawyer, but i'd rather do everything on my own , then have her Okay it.
-I'm self-employed and a college student, I'm contracting for two companies and for one company, I have a contract for $20,500 a year and the other is $10 an hour.
How ever, I didn't work last year because of school and didn't pay taxes. In 2015 I made 18k and in 2014 4k.
I only made about $19k this year since I didn't get my job till may of 2017. My lawyer says this probably won't fly with ucis even though I have a contract.

What I've done so far:
- Filled out I-130, I-130a, I-131, I-765, I-864.
- I still need to fill out the g-28
- Medical exam is next week

- What evidence/info do I need for each of the forms above:

I have the following:
- Birth certificates
- Passports
- 6 passport photos of her taken today ( lawyer told me I need 6 for her)
- 2 passport photos of me (she told me I needed none, but i read that I needed some for me)
- First meeting/purchase reciepts
- some Online messages from when we first started talking
- reciepts for flowers I bought her
- photos of her from the past two years, photos with family, wedding photos
- Phone records
- orginal letters she sent to me over the past two years
- train tickets

Bonafide marriage evidence (I'm working on)
- City hall residency papers saying shes living at my address (I have)
- Added her to credit card (done)
-  opened new joint bank accounts and closed my old ones (done)
- In process of adding her to my life insurance policy as a beneficiary (not done)

===========Questions===============

What I'm confused on:
- How do I assemble everything?

    - What do I put on cover letter?
    - How many checks do I need?
    - Do I make two copies of everything?
    - For the evidence, do I submit orginals or copies?
    - Do I send everything out in one big folder/packet?

- I894
    - Is my lawyer correct on this?
    - I can get my mom to sponsor, would she just have to fill out another I864?
    - What kind of proof do I need to attach to these I-864's(both for me and my mom)

General form questions:
    - She doesn't have an I-94 (either on the UCIS website, or given to her at the border(as a stamp or paper)) So what should we put for A numbers/I94 numbers on the forms (DO I put "N/A Canadian visitor")

Misc questions:
- Is my lawyer right about me not needing any passport photos to submit?
- What do I need to bring to the medical exam?
- She has some old self-harm scars (on her arms, bicep, and theighs) from when she was 13. She is almost 21 and hasn't harmed since then and is in a completely different place mentally now, I read some posts of people getting a note from their doctor explaining this in case it was a problem at the medical, however last time she saw someone it was a childrens doctor and we called her this week and she said she couldn't write one since shes an adult now and in USA. I'm going to tell her, if asked by the doctor, to say it was a long time ago when she was 13 and is in a completely different mental states and that she is not depressed/suicidal or anything. Should I have her say something else or do anything before going to the medical?

- Do I just use a bank statement or should I use the signature documents that were given to us to prove we have a bank account together (what's best to show)
- What evidence do you recommend I include based on what I put above?
- Random question - Nothing to hide but wondering if they ever ask to go through your phone and your social media accounts? Wondering if I should bring my phone with me?

Also if anyone who has experience with this(AOS from visitor status especially canada), I'd be willing to pay to talk on skype help me prepare everything. I've been stressing out/overworked  big time with my business, two other jobs, and all of this at once.  I want to have a second opinion basically, because I've read too many horror stories of lawyers messing things up. It would definitely be a godsend if I could hop on a call with someone or talk to them as I do this as my lawyer only communicates with email and it takes forever to bounce things back and forth.
