Hello,
A member advice me to put my question in this section of the site,
Actually, my K1 Visa is pending from 24/09/2017 in the US Embassy in Paris, France. just the date i sent the DS-5535 forum that i was requested to send by the consular officer.
Each month i sent Email to the embassy asking them about the processing of my file and the only answer i got is I have to wait, and to contact them after one month.
I totally understand the situation and that forum may take while but i need to know how long!? Me and my american fiancée was separated now for very long time, she left me to America since July/2017 ! and that's start to be painful...
I have particular situation, I am Syrian and i live in France from more than 5 years now and never left Europe during those 5 years, so i understand that US Embassy will need extra time to check up on me and get answers from the syrian side...and i think this is the reason of the delay.
I have 2 question please:

1- How much more time i need to wait, to have the Visa ( or the answer) from the Us embassy? is there a maximum delay for the ds-5535 visa?

2- Anyone know why the status of my file on the CEAC website is : (NO STATUS, Please contact the U.S. Consular office you believe is responsible for processing your visa application), i asked the embassy but they didn't answer me.

Thank you in advance and i wish all of you best of luck.
L.

Otherwise, My Fiancée gonna visit me in Paris for few weeks because she started a work in America and can't leave for long time, can she do something or contact anyone in USA now to make the process faster or get answers about the delay...?
Thx

The DS-5535 usually takes several months to process. There is no minimum or maximum timeline.
