I had a ex fiance and he filed a K1 for me in November 2012 but our relationship didn't work out and since then we don't have communication anymore since march 2013. He didn't cancel K1 for me at the time and I just leaved it at that.

After 2 years I meet my husband who is an American citizen also.

We are worried that my previous K1would affect the Cr1 visa in the future.

Is there anyone here that experience like this before?? Please help me.

Any advice would help a lot... Thank you!!!

Always is advised that all petitions be formally withdrawn. There have been stories about people going to interview and the CO finding an old, active petition and them being denied. I would definately try to get the old petitioner to formally send a letter and email asking for it to be withdrawn.

The problem is that old K1 is 6 years ago. And I don't keep any information about case number or receipt number. And I don't feel like contact the ex for that also not sure if he still have it. The only information I had found is the day he sent I-129f and the day received NOA1. Is there any possible could help me get the case number again.? Thank you!

Fill out the petition to the best of your ability.  If you don't have the requested information put in UNKNOWN

An I-129F petition approval dies after 4 mos. if not extended
