So I've read mixed opinions and I was just wondering if anyone has any advice for me on the feasibility of this.

I am living in the UK attending dental school and finishing in June. I have received an offer for a dental residency program in USA (where I am planning to live after this). So that means I will be returning to USA in June. I have lived here for 8.5 years. My fiance and I have been together for 7.5 years, she is currently working in the UK as a pharmacist. I have filled out the I-129 form and just doing some more research before I send it off.

1. Will me not currently living in USA be an issue? - I have an address (my brother's - where I stay when I am in USA) on driver's learners permit/registered voter/bank account/credit cards/etc. I also have an offer for a dental residency program which shows intent to return.

2. I've heard mixed things about co-sponsors for K-1. Is it a realistic option? Obviously I'm a student so I have never earned any income. My brother would co-sponsor and earns enough for this.

Thank you very much for any advice provided.

Marry and go DCF

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

By far the quickest.

Thank you. The reason I didn't look into it before was due to a possibly(?) Irrational fear.

I was thinking k1 would be good as if I get denied I could get married and try a different visa. Is this nonsense and DCF should be a safe option? Thank you.
