Hey all -- so I made a huge mistake and lost my tracking number when I sent in info for our RFE. The backstory is is that my wife came in on a K1 visa and we filed for the AOS. At the time of filing the AOS I only had 2 usable (above 125% poverty) tax returns, and was missing the 3rd for the income verification. At that time we thought it would be okay and we could send in the AOS package anyway; a month later we got an RFE on the form, but for something different. Because we wanted to proceed cautiously we decided to get a joint sponsor after fixing the correction. This took 60 days; our 90 day RFE period ends in 2 weeks.

 

I sent in the documents a couple days before Christmas but my tracking number accidentally got thrown out. I keep checking the USCIS status website but nothing is updating; it still says the RFE was sent out in October. Is there anyone I can contact or be in touch with who can tell me if the additional evidence was received/is being reviewed?

I would look for it... We got a RFE for my mothers I 485 back in October for her medicals that had expiered.. they gave us 60 days. we mailed it back and got confirmation that they signed for it on 10/25/17. there dateline was dec 12th so we got it in very quick... I send a request to see whats going on and on 01/02/18 they reply back to me telling me they had not RECEIVED anything up to that date and that the case could be denied due to abandonment..thankfully my lawyer has copies of everything showing they did sing for it so we sent all that..but we still have not gotten a response
