We had this status changed November 9th 2017. its now 12/5/17. We are not really sure how long the wait is for the interview or if its going to be waived. We are coming from K1 to AOS. We also applied for AOS, EAD and AP back in October.

1. How long is the wait for AOS interview, EAD, and AP?

2. What should we prepare now while waiting?  (As far as documents, we have a Marriage certificate, Apt Lease, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance together, Bills on both our names,  and life insurance.)

Thanks again

It can stay on that status for months, it depends on how quck your field office is working and if your interview will be waived or not. (Some times when interview is waived it takes longer to get an approval).

According to USCIS processing times San Fancisco FO as of september 30th was processing applications for Nov 28 2016. So you can be looking at 6 months or more wait (depends on how quick they work). Sometimes if if you are lucky your interview will be scheduled erlier.

The wait for EAD and AP is from 90 to 120 days. Last week the NBC was adjucating cases from mid september, so if you are lucky you might get it before the 90 day mark.

For the interview, the documents you have seem very good. I would add a joint tax return (that you will do next year), joint bank account, some pictures. Affidavits from friends and family. And ask your petitioner to take recent paystubs to prove they can still support you. (What you have is already really good, but the more evidence to show the better! Hehehe).

there is a thread for the october fillers that you can follow to stay updated on whats going on, etc...

thats it

Até Mais,

Boa sorte!!
