Hi, forgive me for this re-post but I really needed some direction here regarding the new I129F Forms. There are multiple threads on VisaJourney that talk about the changes to the forms but not one of them touches on the changes to the criminal section. (only briefly mentioning it). I think that is a pretty significant change.  (Part 3. Questions  4a. and 4b.) The new question pretty much applies to any and every charge.

My questions are in concerns to the various implications these changes have. In the past, you only had to disclose certain crimes.

Do you need certified police records for any charge now? The question says to list information but does not mention including the record. And if it is not required, should it be included anyway to prevent a RFE?

Is the new question going to effect my changes of getting approved for my fiancee visa?

Thanks again, sorry for being repetitive but

I had one Criminal Misdemeanor in 2002, I went to the courthouse and got the case judgement in certified format for a slight fee.  The guide for that section is on this site somewhere, I'll go try and find it again but yes you need to get certified copies of any criminal record since 18 years of age.

Go to the K-1 Visa Guide section and check tip number 11

Okay, I would appreciate that greatly! I have a certified disposition report but not the arrest report. Is that enough?

Is the certified "disposition" your final judgement of that case?  If yes, then you are golden.
