Hi fellow Filipinos out there! I will be having my cfo seminar in manila tomorrow, tanong ko lang kung pwede naba yung scanned copy ng divorce decree, wala napo kasing time para kumuha sya at ipa fedex nya yung original. naipasa na kasi kasama ng petition. So far ang meron ako ay yung aming nso marriage cert, pictures together, valid id cards. thank you po sa mga sasagot 😊😊😊 God bless!

Copies are just fine, they may want to see the original, but keep a copy.   Your personal copy of the NBI is acceptable ID as is your passport.   They want a copy of your Immigrant Data sheet that is attached to your DO NOT OPEN envelope (do not remove it, just  make a copy)

thank you! i'm all set with my IDs 😊😊 I don't have my passport yet, i'm scheduled for renewal next week. that's the main reason why i came across cfo seminar, it is one of the requirements. i thought i only needed nso marriage cert to change my surname lol

Ah CFO to get the certificate to change your name on your passport.   Yes .. DFA will want a copy of the certificate (and see the original)  .  Once you are done with this CFO you are done forever, don't need to complete a seminar later, just return, with the certificate and copy of your Immigrant Data sheet, to get the sticker in your passport after you have your visa.

 

DFA was very efficient when my wife got her new passport in September .. had it delivered to the house about 2 weeks after application.

Yes, no more long lines in DFA, and they also have shipping options if you don't have time to go back and pick up your new passport, just like what your wife did.

DFA, PSA I have to say were good experiences, as was BAI (Bureau of Animal Industries) in fact they were impressive. 

 

Bureau of Immigration on the other hand is seriously lacking, never seen a place with so many food delivers, and yak sessions
