NOA1 addressed as maiden name, not married name. Help!

Hi guys. I received my NOA1 for my AOS, EAD & AP today. The EAD & AP were addressed to me in my married name, but the AOS was addressed to me in my maiden name. I called USCIS, and the woman seemed a bit confused and put me on hold for a few minutes. She then told me to go to the social security office to legally change my name (I haven't done this yet), then contact them again.

 

Did this happen to anyone else? I'm just a bit confused, because the EAD & AP noa1 was in my married name.

You should be okay, because during your in-person interview you can bring it up to the officer to have your married name put on the green card and he/she will do it.

I agree with above reply. You can change the name at SS office and take it with you during your in-person interview and ask for married name to be printed on your Green Card.
