Hi all, I checked Vermont Service Center processing time information as of today and seems like it only moved less than a week compared to a month ago. Do you think some CSC cases are getting transferred to Vermont?

That does seem possible - although it may not be I-751 files, and it may not be a transfer at all, but rather some other form that has a backlog. From our understanding, I-751 is the lowest priority of anything processed, so if anything else comes up, it will get processed first.

However, it's reasonable to speculate that CSC might have sent some of the I-751s to be adjudicated at VSC, since they're approximately 3 months ahead. I guess we'll see - if people get their approval letters from VSC when they were originally sent to CSC, then we'll know.

There isn't any publicized workload transfer at this time, though.

As far as I know, a CSC-to-VSC I-751 workload transfer (historically) never happened. But keep in mind when a workload transfer happens: 1) USCIS makes an official announcement it on its webpage, 2) the petitioners who get transferred also get notified in the mail.

The last I-751 workload transfer happened in August 2015 from VSC to CSC. During that time CSC was reporting 3 months processing time, VSC was doing 8 months or so. I also looked at other past transfers, they seemed to happen when a service center did much better than the 6 months goal. I guess only then they could justify the transfer. Right now both service centers doing horribly. I doubt they would do a transfer of I-751 but follow the official workload transfers page for announcements. If they do, it would appear here https://www.uscis.gov/workload-transfers .
