We are currently at the Vermont centre after being transferred on 23rd August from the Potomac centre waiting. PD 3rd April as stated on the NOA1. Currently at 210 days. Has anyone else here been transferred like this ? 😏

It is not uncommon for cases to be transferred to other service centers and still pending. Since you are out of processing times, you can submit a service request online so they can take a look. USCIS asks applicants to wait 6 months before requesting such service which in your case past due.

Also a congressional inquiry might help pushing things a little.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply. My husband who put in the application sent an online request but nothing other than what we already know. That they transferred it 😏

I then nagged him like a good little wifey does to call and find out.

He told me he has called but was told that because Vermont are still at the 1st April then when it changes he can call back! And they will look again. I would like to know if I can call them as I'm a little more pushy with regards to getting the answers i want 😜

I'm here in the UK and his in the US, he isn't a fan of calling them as he doesn't like to do things like that. I would like to call?? But can I?   🤷

As far as I know, only the petitioner can call the USCIS regarding an application filed on behalf of the beneficiary.

You are welcome. Your husband may contact the congress/senator of the state he is residing at. Usually their office has a case worker who handles inquires with government agencies. Hope that help.
