Hi~ All. Any advice will be truly appreciated!!!!

My fiance submitted i 129f and we recieved NOA1 and RFE for our relationsip. After my fiance mailing evidence to USCIS, I realized that I did not mention that I changed my name. I changed my name 10 years ago, and in the form they have that section to write other names if any; however I didn't write my formal name and submitted any documents, either.

My fiance called USCIS and they told me we can submit the paper mantioning to correct the form, and some documents for name change.

However, I feel that we also submit our new i 129 with right information in it.

So my questions are,

1. DON'T we need to rewrite i 129 f and submit with supporting documents?

1. I do not remember the answers in the form i-129f , such as past address and moving date, if I write diffrent date or address with my original i-129f, will it be a problem?

3. Since they are working on my case, should we write e mail that we are going to send correction so that they don't approve us with a wrong information?

Thank you so much for your time !!

You need to send the correct name change documents AND you need to correct the I-129 form with the corrected information
and they will use that going forward.
The adjudication on your case will stop until they receive your RFE response, it is not being worked on before and no you don't
send them an email because it will not reach your adjudicator and is totally unnecessary.
Why didn't you make a copy of your I-129 forms ?
Rule #1 in this immigration process, always copy every form and every RFE and every scrap of paper you send them from here on
all the way to citizenship.
Why do you not remember the dates of your addresses/dates ? Did you guess them on the form ?
Being more organized will ensure a better immigration experience so don't take this lightly.
The same address/date questions will repeatedly come up for your immigration journey and if you have inconsistencies then yes,
it can become a problem.
Include a new or form with the correct information with the RFE, it is your responsibility that the signature reflects correct information
for which you are accountable (petitioner).
