hey guys my brother is a us citizen and has file for his wife. he dont have enough income so i am helping him as a joint sponcer. but i am confused which for should i fill for affidavite of support? i864 or i864A?

and in i864 part 5household size should be 2, my brother and his wife but it comes 3.

1) Provide the number you entered in part 3item number 28 that comes 1.

Persons not sponcered in this affidavit:

2) yourself 1

3) if you are currently married, enter 1 for your spouse and that is 1. and in total it will be 3.

but his spouse is already counted in 1. help me guys

Unless you live with your brother, you should both complete I-864.

There's a note at the top of part 5 - "Do not count any member of your household more than once". His spouse is already counted under item 1, so don't enter her again under item 3.

Exactly! Don't count her twice.
