Hi all - hoping a fellow Canadian can help me out with this. I apologize if this question has already been answered.

My fiancé received the below email from the NVC this morning (I was missed because the NVC sent to the wrong email). I've called NVC to change my email address but I'll have to call Montreal tomorrow to verify they have the correct email on file.

Dear XXXX,

The U.S. Embassy in MONTREAL, CAN approved your request for expedited processing of your immigrant visa application. The National Visa Center sent your petition to this U.S. Embassy for their action. The Embassy will contact you soon to schedule a visa interview.

If you have questions about your visa interview, please visit the U.S. Embassy's website at http://usembassy.gov.

Regards,
National Visa Center,
U.S. Department of State

Invoice ID:

Is this a normal email to receive? We definitely did not request an expedite - but I'll happily take it!

Thank you!!
