Buy tickets before interview

We got out Noa2 fiancé visa and waiting for instructions. I can't go to interview till December bc I'm going to visit my fiancé in November and I can't have my tourist visa and fiancé visa at the same time, what I understand. We decided for me to move back into the US in Feb and I've been checking tickets since now and found a really good prices. So if I buy tickets since now it's bad looking for the interview or will be a problem ? TIA

Fiance should visit you.  Add visit  into to your packet of information for interview. Do not rush the situation with the American Immigration officials.

It's not bad looking. It's just kinda risky to buy your tickets now before you have your visa in hand. You still dunno if your visa will be approved or you'll be subjected to long AP beyond January. Unless the ticket is refundable and changeable, nop, probably best not to do it.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

As @KULtoATL stated,  it's never a good idea to get your tickets before your visa. You never know what can happen
