I need some help locating the cost of the spousal visa at the time of interview. I'm trying to prepare for whenever we get an interview date. Where can I find a list of visa fees for Accra, Ghana. Ive learned there's a difference between the application fee and a visa fee. Has anyone interviewed recently that can give me a figure? Thanks

The only thing paid for directly in Accra for a spouse visa is the medical exam.  You'll pay the visa application fee $325 and the AOS evaluation fee, $120 directly to the National Visa Center once they receive the case file from USCIS.

 

What you have paid so far is a petition filing fee.  Nothing has been applied for.  An approved petition opens the door to apply for a visa.

 

Once the visa is in hand, you will also pay a new immigrant fee, $220 to USCIS, online from YOUR checking account, just like the two NVC fees.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
