How do I apply for this with a green card? Also is this instant or is it another waiting game?

Apply for what?????/ everything with USCIS is a waiting game, if its for Naturalization you wait

until your qualifying time, nothing is instant

Congrats on your recent GC approval

You can walk into your nearest Social Security Administration Office with your passport, I-94, GC and a pen to fill the application there. Once you finish the process at the office(takes about 10 minutes) you will receive your SS card in mail within 2 weeks... all the best

To be honest I dont remember but when you are there at the counter, the officer will give you a receipt, you may ask him for the number( I doubt that he will tell you). But still I'd say the wait for SSN is wayyyyy less then what you been through for AOS.
