This may be a "duh" question.. but I'm wondering at what point in the process after applying for AOS will i either receive or be able to apply for a SSN.I will be sending off my AOS package with the app for EAD as well so i'm not concerned with obtaining the SSN for work purposes, however since i've been in the US for more than 5 months i'm *technically* not supposed to be using my Canadian drivers license on the road.I'd like to apply for an Illinois driver's license asap, but in order to do so I need a social security number.Any info will be much appreciated, thanks guys!

You can get SSN in 1 of 3 ways.

If you are K-1 (Your profile and timeline lacks details) You can apply for it within 75 days of entering on that Visa.

When you get EAD card from USCIS

OR when you have Green-Card.
